I just joined your group. I am doing the 3 week program on Medium intensity. I look forward to getting movtiv8ted with your guys.
|||Welcome all! Actually seeing people join the group has kept me going on the 9 week program... and during phase 2 and 3 I suspect I need that motivation. I thought I was in shape before starting this (Since I have used Wii Fit since it came out and used the original Sports Active for the Wii for a year) but Sports Active 2, phase 2 is kicking my butt! On the other hand, I feel so much better when the workout is over with...|||I hear you Furby. I know i'm not in great shape. I was doing the Active for a long while and had great results but then fell off the wagon. I did the 30 day challenge on Active last month and my reward was Active 2. I started the 3 week program yesterday to ease myself into medium intensity. I will be hitting the 9 week program following that.
Looking forward to working out as a team.|||Actually the one thing I wish that someone would do is create a Wii Fit/Sports active game that allowed us to actually work out together. Think about how much fun it would be to do a run on Wii Fit's Wuhu island alongside another persons avatar, or be able to have all our avatars doing the exercises at the same time onscreen?
But these online groups are a step in that direction, so I have to congratulate EA for taking that step...|||Hi,
Just joined today. Called Djb193. Stuck between 2 personas.
Starting 9 week program on hard level tomorrow.
Chat you all soon.
Dj|||I did my first workout today, but I was off work, and had not time pressures.
I'm planning on doing the workout in the morning before I leave for work.
I was monitoring my time to complete a full workout today to see what time I need to start at each morning.
I registered 31 minutes of a workout, but it actually took 65 minutes to complete. The main delay was the waiting for the wii to load the next exercise.
Has anyone else noticed this, or is it specific to mine? There were 33 activities in total. Some took longer to load than others.
Thanks,
Dj|||No - it's not just you. There is a lag between exercises. I hadn't noticed it to be that long, but it very well could be (I never timed it to be honest). What's weird is that there wasn't quite that bad of a lag in the original game... I suspect it has something to do with uploading data to the website as it goes but that is just a guess...|||*waves*
Hello everyone. Just joined the group a few minutes ago (after figuring it out!)
I am doing the 3 week course atm. Done a couple of workouts this week (which aren't showing on my stats in the group?) I am liking the program for the most part. Although I have trouble with the leg sensor from time to time!
Hoping having a group will help me stay on target!
-K|||Welcome!
Stats for the group are only recorded from when you join it. But that's okay - trust me your stats will build up quick enough!
The leg sensor seems to "stick" from now and then but no more than the Wiimote does so it's not that bad...|||
Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome! The leg sensor getting "stuck" made sense. I am thinking about getting a usb extension to move the stick in front of the wii. I am wondering if that will help some. Sometimes, during things like basketball defense etc., I notice the system doesn't register anything at all. It is like a hiccup :)
Did my workout today, and am off to hunt down some dinner!
Happy workouts,
-K|||I've found in the Basketball exercises that sometimes I just have to shake my leg a bit - sometimes it doesn't register when I stand back up... I suspect (With no evidence whatsoever by the way - this is just a suspicion) that it is not the USB receiver that is the problem but the hardware inside the leg strap. Somewhere in there must be some sort of bit of tech that moves on a level and get's stuck and doesn't move back sometimes and therefore doesn't transmit the "I am standing up now" to the system... Which, to be honest, is kind of okay as long as it doesn't happen all the time...
