(PS3) Group --- Over 30/Getting back into the groove

Getting back in shape for the soccer season and this time I'm going to stay fit. I just didn't have the time to do an hour of P90X each day but this is the perfect amount of time to get a good workout in. Started day 1 today, doing the 9-week medium workout (with the bands currently, but will get some weights instead soon).
Let's motivate each other and stick with it this time.

Tried my first workout today -9 week med, Didn't it make it past the jump rope portion. I will try again tomorrow on easy! I don't know what I was thinking! Good luck to all! I asked for and received a set of Bodyelastics resistance bands for Christmas, since the upper-body/muscle stuff isn't generally what I struggle with ... I could add a bit more resistance to the exercises I know I can do w/o pushing. Plus, I thought it'd be nice to have proper handles to grasp, rather than those simple loops. The handles do make a good bit of difference, even though I've only had occasion to bump up to the next level resistance band once or twice, so far.
|||Just got my "Game" Finished the first workout of the 9 week program today...hope it's not to late for me to join your group!!!|||Btw, brewsky ... who's "ward"? :)|||haha... it's meant to be a play on words for Fit Forward. :) But yeah, if you want to get in shape for Ward, whatever floats your boat!
Just finished workout number 4. Daaaaamn. Legs, legs, legs. After mountain climbers, foot fires, mountainboarding, FOOT FIRES, MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS, FOOT FIRES AGAIN, then mountainboarding... I was practically gumby. I'm feeling way better now after each workout, though. I'm playing soccer again on Wednesday this week so we'll see if I'm too tired or have a little bit more get up and go.
Also: I tried out a session with my wife today! We bought two games of Active (because the accessory pack for the PS3 isn't out yet) and we worked out together. It's pretty cool! She was the primary profile and got the Milestone for working out with a buddy and my entire workout got uploaded to my profile as well so I get credit for it.
It's pretty cool - if one person finishes long before the other, they can continue to work out and it tracks how many "bonus" reps you do and gives you a completion score of 100%+. At the end it gives the person who worked out harder the glory-screen at the end - I was very distraught, to say the least but I blamed it on my wife's instructor giving her a handicap, haha

Yeah, I noticed that it doesn't update immediately. It should show up eventually though.
