Branden|||I've joined

Mike|||I joined; just finished phase 1 of the 9 week program and feeling it. I too have a Mt. Dew weakness... =)|||I haven't started the programs yet. I've had the game for 3 days and have just been doing the trainer built workouts each day so far. I managed to complete a 15 minute workout the day I brought it home, 30 minutes the day after, and yesterday I completed a 45 minute workout. I'll probably start the 9-week either Sunday or Monday. Any suggestions on exercises to work on over the next couple days to make starting the program a bit easier?
Mike|||I just jumped right into the 9 Week Program. I was pretty sore after the second workout. After two days rest I can finally use my legs again.|||Hi Branden, Thanks for setting up the group, I work in eCommerce in the UK, and am also new to EA Active, I've done a couple of workouts over the weekend and then the 9 week program starts tomorrow!|||Hello! Just joined your group! I do the tech support and manage the purchase, support, maintenance of anything IT/AV/SIM related for a medical school.
I am not new to EASportsActive, i've tried the first one, on Wii a year or more ago, and i just bought the 2 for my PS3 today! Will get into my first workout later tonite!
Most days i get my fair share of walking around the office, and walking to and from work (or cycling when it's nice out) but i need more to stay in shape, and it wouldn't hurt to motivate myself to eat better too !

However that said I am getting slightly frustrated with the leg sensor, it seems for the first 4 or so excercises of each workout I do it keeps cutting out and then reconnecting, which is very frustrating as I have to keep pushing start on the controller to continue, but after the first few excercises it seems to be fine going forward.
Also using the fatsecret website to monitor my calorie intake. Which is great for the inner geek as it has an android app which includes the ability to scan barcodes of what you're eating.
On with week 2 Monday|||
One week into the 9 week workout now. First impressions are that I'm very impressed, I'm not one to go to the gym but if I did I would never get such a varied workout as Active 2 without guidance.

it scans the barcode to catalog the food intake or just to give you the info ? i'm guessing the first, since just giving you the dry info is already on most products anyway.
also : no barcodes on fruits :)|||Yes it scans it to auto enter it into a food diary. You can also manually search for food (such as fruit :) ) .
Also it has many popular resturant dishes in it, though some of the time I'm slightly sceptical as to how precise it is.|||For restaurants i use "Restaurant Calorie Counter for Dummies" although i'm on iPhone, so i don't know if there's an Android version.

@CharlesRB: I've noticed similar things as well, although I've attributed it to the heart-rate monitor. It seems that if the batteries are low in the heart-rate monitor then the heart-rate reading jumps around a bit (+/-10 bpm); if this is happening I get frequent disconnects. Once I replace the batteries the reading is solid (+/- 2 bpm) and no disconnections. Anyway, that's my own experience. Please post any solutions you find...|||Week 2 complete, still having issues with the leg attachment connecting but to be honest haven't got round to trying new batteries, - though its very odd that its for the first few excercises only. If it were battery related I would have expectied it to fade in and out all the time.
Otherwise going fairly well, getting into a routine now. Finding some of the excercises like skipping, I end up jumping double the times than necessary as the characther on the screen keeps missing the rope, but I suppose its all good for me!
Also dieting and with a combination of the two have lost 2.1kg this week, though first week so next week will be the real test (not sure how much this week was due to an empty stomach in the morning! Seem to have put half back on by the end of the day!
Hope everyone else is doing well
