New Wii Group for Busy Ladies age 50+

I just created a group for busy mature ladies. I have completed the 21 day program and have started on the 9 wk. program.
Looking for other "mature" ladies to join the group
Version: Wii
Group Name: busyladies
Password: youngatheart|||Hi. I would like to join this group also. I'm 56 and have 40 to 50 lbs to lose. I'm about a week in to the 9 week challenge. I started at the medium intensity but after 4sessions I realized I was starting to dread working out so dropped to easy and find it much better altho not as satisfying in one way but at least I look forward to it again. I was interested in the person who is doing the C25K on the iPhone - can that be done on a treadmill? Also, I am thinking about ZuMBA Fitness for Wii, has anyone tried it?|||Hi! I was so glad to find this group. I'm 52 years old and doing Wii Sports Active 2 to get more fit. My weight is fine, but I need the cardio and strength training. I can only manage to do this two days per week (Saturday and Sunday), as I'm a working mom who works from home on my own businesses (one up and running and starting a second one). So, needless to say, time is an issue.
I've been pretty good about doing my 2 days/week for the past 4-5 weeks. I also have the goal to do at least one more day of something else, like walking when the weather cooperates or dancing when it doesn't.
How can we best support each other in our goals and efforts?
Thanks for starting this group!|||How wonderful. I have just started the 9 week program and I'm young at heart and 59 years old. I succeded to join from my Wii consol.I got my Wii from my darling last year and I have worked with Sports Active and Wii fit +. Sports Active 2 seemed to be a good program so I bought it and I like it. I like that there are so much variations in training. Otherwise I can get bored. I am also a busy lady.|||Hi there,
I'm a 51 year old looking to loose weight and get back into shape after knee surgery.
I'm dealing with some arthritis issues too but am really enjoying the "sport" themed workouts.
I'm a third of the way thru the 9 week program - 4 days a week.
Looking forward to the support and encouragement from this forum - both giving and taking :o)|||OK, we have a group started, so let's get started and see if we can get some more members.|||I would like to join your group.
I am 58 and have about 25 pounds to lose.
Carrie|||Hi
I'd like to join your group, Im 56 and need to loose about a stone.|||Hi all it's great to be part of this growing group! Wondering how we support each other? It sounds as if al
almost everyone is on the 9 week program. I know my Wii checks in online. Is there a way we can hold each other accountable to do 4 workouts a week? Or is there a way we can ‘meet' online to workout?|||Good morning ladies,
May I join your group? I'm 62 yo.
I finished the 3 weeks cardio last week but started to have some pain on my knee so I'm planning to do the low impact and upper body exercises for a few weeks before I start the 9 weeks program.
I'm motived to workout 3 to 4 times a week.
I don't know how to meet on line but it would be great.|||Anyone who would like to jon, is welcome...just sign up using the group name and password. I am not sure which id EA is using for me. Apparently I registered when I first got the software as feathersb, so I may show up as feathersb or brokenfeathers.
I created the group, but I am new at this and not really sure how it works as far as islandgal's questions regarding challenges and working out together. Does anybody else know?|||I have tried the Zumba for wii, but was not happy with it at all. The graphics are very poor, and it doesn't flow like a real workout. You have to keep selecting the next "dance". It doesn't seem to be very well organized. I was sorry I bought it.|||Im a busy 59 year old, enjoying my new Ea sports active 2 and have just started the 3 week course. I would like to join your group and together we can improve our fitness and those of us needing to lose weight can motivate each other along the way. How do I sign up?
|||Welcome GT,
I signed up using the WII Console.
The first screen on the top right gives the option to join a group.
The group name is: busyladies
Password: youngatheart.
Welcome again.|||Hi, I too am looking to join a group - purchased my active 2 right after Christmas and am doing pretty well with the program but thought it might be even more enjoyable if I joined a group. I'm 55 and am working out to get toned/lose a few pounds...
